Class Protocols

These are subject to change as new information is released from the CDC, California, and/or San Francisco Department of Public Health.

  • Per the latest San Francisco Health Order, proof of vaccination is NO LONGER REQUIRED at gyms.

  • If feeling unwell, STAY HOME

  • While we no longer have the same requirements for post-workout sanitization, please clean up after yourself and wipe down anything you’ve chalked or sweat on. That means both brushing AND wiping barbells, and wiping pullup bars, cardio machines, DBs, KBs, or balls that you've used.

  • Restrooms, showers, and water dispensers are now open. We no longer provide towel service.

COVID-19

Beginning 3/11/2022, San Francisco no longer requires proof of vaccination to train in a gym.

We support anyone who chooses to wear a mask at Flagship, but masks are no longer required (indoors or outdoors).

If you’re feeling unwell or experiencing any COVID symptoms, we still ask that you stay home for the safety of others.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we’ve navigated through the various health orders and policies!

Bay Area Fires and Air Quality

We take seriously the responsibility to keep all of you and our coaches safe. Please remember coaches are sometimes at the gym for many hours carrying their own increased risk of exposure. We monitor the AQI (air quality index) on PurpleAir.com, and will adjust the scheduled programming and/or cancel classes if necessary. Since the weather and wind can change quickly, impacting the air quality near the gym, we will wait as long as possible before canceling classes. If you have registered for class you will receive an email if a class is canceled. You will not be charged a fee or a lose a class if you are on a class pack or per-week plan. Please monitor how you’re feeling, especially if you have pre-existing conditions that make you more susceptible to poor air quality.

Our coaches can cancel classes at their discretion.

Do I need experience to start?

No! We welcome athletes of all levels and abilities, and our workouts and exercises scale to any level. Coaches can help you modify workouts (movements, volume, weights) to meet you where you’re at and progress from there.

If you would like an introductory or refresher session with a coach, you can book private training.

Can I drop in?

Yes! We'd love to have you! We currently allow single-class drop-ins for most class times ($36 per class), or you can purchase a 3 or 10-pack of classes. We also offer single sessions (and 10-session packs) to our “Open Gym” hours. Find out more on our visiting athletes page.

Do you offer open gym?

We currently offer indoor and outdoor “open gym” hours each weekday in the late morning (9am-12pm) or early afternoon (2-3:30pm) at Castro. FiDi and Mission Bay have open gym hours during all regular class times (and additionally 9am-12pm at FiDi). The rate is $20.

What is your cancelation policy?

We currently do not have any “late-cancel” or “no-show” fees. We have implemented such measures in the past, and will again in the future if the need arises. We do ask that you sign up for class ahead of time, so coaches can better prepare for each class.

Please know this is not intended to be a money-making policy. We implement such policies to respect the members who may be able to take those spots in classes, as well as our coaches who want to provide the best experience to our members. Our hope is that we don't have to charge anyone.

Can I bring my pet with me?

We love your furry friends at Flagship, but some members (and coaches) have pet allergies, and they deserve to be as comfortable in the space as those who don't. We also want to keep a high standard of cleanliness throughout the gyms. And so we ask that pets be kept in the designated areas of each gym, tethered to something heavy enough to keep them there. Those places are:

  • Castro - outside in the gated driveway area

  • Mission Bay - front entryway before the offices

  • FiDi - athlete lounge or before the TV screens

If you do bring your pet, it is your responsibility to handle any disturbances like excessive barking, and to clean up any hair or anything else left behind by your pet. Please keep your dog leashed unless you clear it with the coach.

Thank you!

Do you have bathrooms, showers, and a water fountain?

Our indoor restrooms, showers, and water fountains are now fully available. Towel service is currently NOT available.

How can I make changes to my membership?

Current and past Flagship members can complete our Membership Change Form to change membership type or start training with us again!
