Proof of Vaccination
Per San Francisco's health order, all athletes training indoors must show proof of vaccination. The latest health order from Feb. 14 now allows masks to be optional for those who are vaccinated, beginning Feb. 16th. Below are details on our process for meeting this requirement.
Indoor and Outdoor Peak
In order to work within the confines of our membership system, and so that you don’t have to do a vaccine verification EVERY time you come to the gym, we have two different “programs” in Wodify for the same class.
Peak (indoors) - you may work out indoors, masks optional, if fully vaccinated
Outdoor Peak (available at UM, masks optional if you’ve been vaccinated)
The programming is the same for indoor/outdoor (minus access to a rig outdoors). These classes run at the same time, in the same general space, with the same coach, but allows previously-verified athletes easier entry into class and allows our coaches to know who has or hasn’t shown proof of vaccination.
When you first sign up for membership, you won’t be able to sign up for an indoor Peak class in Wodify (unless you’re going to Upper Market, in which case you can sign up for Peak Outdoors). But Don’t worry! Just show up to whatever class you were planning on, at least 5 minutes before class, and the coach will check your vaccination status.
Once you’ve been verified on-site, we’ll give you access to (indoor) Peak and you can sign yourself up for class in Wodify on your own going forward. At that point, you won’t need to show proof of vaccination (though we encourage you to continue to carry your proof of vaccination as a backup).
Peak Outdoors - Our Unverified Program - Upper Market Only
If you do not show proof of vaccination, you can still attend OUTDOOR classes under the same guidelines we have now (mask optional if you've been vaccinated). Restroom/water fountain use is allowed as long as you're masked. These classes are only available at Upper Market.
Thank you as always for staying flexible during these constantly changing circumstances.
